I had never heard of salt potatoes before, so I googled them and OMFG I WISH WE HAD THEM HERE!

you can make them yourself!

• just get some tiny potatoes
• boil them in water that is SUPER salty
  like a cup or two of salt in the pot
• boil until cooked

yes it’s ‘a lot of salt’ but you don’t actually like eat it all, most of it gets poured down the drain. What happens is that the salt forms like a crust on the outside and thus keeps the water from getting into the potato and make it runny. Instead the inside because soft and creamy.

Oh and then you serve them with melted butter.
