Notes… I hope my family doesn’t hear too much on the attacks on the American consulate in Benghazi within Libya
where 4 embassy staff including Ambassador Christopher Stevens
because this is pretty much what I want to do
in the region of the world I want to do it in
career plans are hard
especially ones with dangerous implications
I wish diplomats weren’t so often attacked for their peaceful endeavors
I wish most global issues could be handled as such
what a sacrifice those individuals made and I hope they and their families find peace
I hope that Islamophobes like pastor Terry Jones who promoted the film that caused the furor of attacks and the Quran burning efforts several years ago realize the real actual damage they do with their hate
