So I’m not saying that this is a kind of ‘oh forgive us now’ sort of situation

But realize that this all encompassing rage is not founded either. A lot of states have this sort of discrimination law hanging over their head. 

I mean Amendment One was especially grievously worded. But the same sort of homophobic attitude of the greater state population drove the passing of these constitutional amendments. In fact 21 of these passed with greater support than here in North Carolina. 

We all have to do our parts to help educate the ignorant and be compassionate towards our fellow human beings. But we also cannot be silent. Some of these calls to action and change are undoubtedly coming out of these states with similar amendments

We cannot forget that every single one of these amendments is an affront to the liberties and freedoms this country supposedly stands for and could again.
