Things I'm Obsessing Over

didn’t have time to make lunch today

went to the dentistry school to see if their little convenience store had Med Deli (it did!) 

got blatantly gawked at by several tables of guys

thank you new lucky jeans

I figured out part of operation ‘snag a medical/dentistry student’

I’ve got totally cool and awesome plans for my lunch break

and they do not involve food

EDIT: they also do not involve sex

I realized this made it sound sort of like I was planning on that sort of thing during lunch

order my boots from target’s website

realize I should have gotten leggings too while I was at it to save on shipping

cancel boot order

go to reorder them with the leggings in the shopping cart too

the boots are out of stock now in my size

had a really good evening last night

slept for a couple hours on the floor

woke up and drove home

and Taylor and I have been curled up in the dark dozing on and off on our futon in the living room ever since

yes this has been good

someone hired this clown

first day of the big girl job

my favorite part of that photo is the fact that you can see how happy my dad is

because he thinks (and rightly so) that he is so fucking funny

Waiting on a friend in Starbucks

This guy is talking pretty loudly on his phone in Arabic

Everyone keeps glancing over at him uncomfortably

I can tell he’s just talking to his wife about his niece’s wedding and their son’s scholarship here

So I’m getting really pissed off at seeing everyone being so upset about him merely talking on his phone in a different language while thinking the worst

Ginger’s birthday dinner. Chicken, green beans, carrots, rice pilaf. Then a dessert of peanut butter drizzled with honey. She devoured it all (Taken with Instagram)

But every time I get on the bus in the afternoon to go to class I am always the only woman on the bus.

I rationally know that I probably have nothing to worry about.

But instinctually there’s something unsettling about getting on a bus with 5 strange men.

Bet that’s something most men never even give a thought to, their safety based on gender ratio
