For the past week, Iron Man 3 has been filming indoors inside a studio in Wilmington, North Carolina.  But according to OnLocationVacations.com, the cast and crew will be filming some outdoor scenes in Cary, NC:

“Iron Man 3 is expected to film scenes on Caitboo Ave behind Crossroads Cinema in Cary, N.C. on Monday (6/4) and Tuesday (6/5) from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

And yes, Robert Downey Jr. will be there!

According to WECT, they will also film a driving scene on June 6th “around the ‘SAS campus likely using Harrison Avenue, Cary Parkway or Weston Parkway.’ … There will be lots of extras and minimal overnight security presence.”

ROAD TRIP

and I of course am moving those two days and can’t go even though I like like less than an hour away 

by 5 pm?

and hasn’t packed almost anything yet?

at least it’s only moving out and the moving in is in two more days

and I’m a stuff all my clothes into garbage bags sort of person. 

but still stressing

because after moving out I have to vacuum and wipe down the whole house with clorox wipes

she was little and didn’t know who he was at the time but she came out of the local store and he was sitting outside and offered her some gum

it was certainly a different time then

now you’re not supposed to talk to strangers as a child. Especially slightly creepy people who are sometimes on television programs you’re not allowed to watch haha

crying over all of the work and dedication into teaching and education

for children that the system has largely written off

all of the educators that care and are trying to change

the students who desperately want to work and learn

the parents who are just trying to get better for their children than they have as they struggle to get by

it’s beautiful. 

Someone remind me why I didn’t go for education again. 

It’s such a high stakes area though. Would I be good enough? I would care. But I can’t promise I’d be good. 

I can’t do lateral entry due to my horrific college grades that I regret but were largely a case of my life falling apart at times. 

Perhaps a few years doing other things first. Then go back and get the 15 hours above a 3.0 GPA. Go back to get a masters in education. 

I’m done with school for the moment though. I need some time to breath. But I think this issue will eventually come back to me. It’s been something that’s itched at the back of my brain for awhile. 

I grew up poor. Dirt poor. Living on food stamps on government housing aid. I’ve lived in the projects. Not like some people say where they mean they lived near a rough area. I mean government housing. I’ve seen the children that lived in my poor neighborhoods get written off. I’ve gotten by and not faced the same prejudice as some of my socioeconomic peers. I was white so I ‘passed’ a lot of times and didn’t get the same scrutiny. But I also succeeded due to my escape. I had an abusive step father for a decade so I spent a lot of time staying out of the line of site and thus harm’s way. So I did my homework and I read a novel a day in whatever hidey hole I managed to find in our home at the time. So I was smart. Because I read and was quiet and did as I was told. But I watched my peers fall in the cracks. I moved around a lot but there’s a lot of people I watched being written off by their teachers. I’ve looked up some of these people and they didn’t graduate from high school. A fate I could have predicted without finding them again. 

I don’t think that’s fair. Poverty is a self perpetuating cycle. Education is a way out of it. 

This has been a really long post. It got off topic. But remained on topic in it’s own way. I essentially started a brain vomit due to feelings.

Do they think that it is funny but consider themselves outside of it?

I also would like to know how many people that live in alternative haven communities think of it.

Like do people in Ithaca, Asheville, and Carrboro (sorry just my personal experiences here) think that it’s funny while making fun of Portland but don’t see it in their own community?

I have SEEN these situations going down. In my real life. This is not a weird foreign show to me. It is in my face.

but when I reverse google imaged it they said it was a silverfish. Not true. Silverfish are a totally different freaky creature. Mostly because of the way they move. They’re called ‘fish’ for a reason. 

oh! Found it. They’re called house centipedes.

Weird.
